TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is an engineering-grade elastomer that combines high tensile strength with excellent flexibility, featuring the following characteristics: good waterproof performance and oxygen permeability; excellent adhesion with low risk of delamination; polyester- and polyether-based grades that are naturally degradable when buried in soil over several decades, offering environmental benefits; and widespread replacement of PVC in European and North American markets, particularly in textile lamination and garment processing applications.
