Product Description

Polyolefin Plastomer (POP)

Affinity™ GA Polyolefin Plastomer (POP) is specially engineered to deliver stronger adhesion, faster flow, and longer-lasting flexibility during application.

With a unique balance of high flow, low crystallinity, and low molecular weight (low viscosity), it enables broader application possibilities, such as higher-adhesion hot-melt adhesives, faster-flow thermoplastic polyolefins (TPOs), softer and more durable blends, and high-filled masterbatches.

Offering excellent processability, performance, and added value, it is widely used in hot-melt adhesives (HMA) and polymer modification/blending.

Application Advantages

Hot-Melt Adhesives (HMA)

  • Wider application temperature range than EVA-based HMAs

  • Bonds well to multiple substrates

  • Excellent adhesion at both high and low temperatures

Polymer Modification / Compounding

  • Flow modifier / performance modifier

  • Carrier for highly filled masterbatches

  • Adhesion enhancement

  • Injection molding binder (e.g., metal and ceramic injection molding)
