NEOPRENE is a versatile synthetic rubber introduced in the early 20th century and proven across decades of industrial applications.
Developed to solve natural rubber’s poor oil resistance, its unique combination of properties keeps it widely used globally today.
Excellent oil & chemical resistance: Strong resistance to waxes, fats, lubricants, and most petroleum products
Good alkali and diluted acid/salt resistance
Outstanding weathering & ozone resistance: Long-term UV and environmental aging durability
Water resistance & burial stability: Does not corrode or degrade under long-term immersion or soil exposure
Stable mechanical strength: Excellent bending, twisting, and compression-set resistance
High-temperature: Continuous 80–95°C, intermittent up to 120°C
Will not melt but may harden or lose elasticity if overheated
Low-temperature: Performs at –20°C to –25°C; special grades withstand –55°C
