FUSABOND® is Dow’s series of functional grafted polymers used as compatibilizers or coupling agents in polyolefins and engineering plastics. Based on PE or PP and grafted with functional groups such as MAH, they enhance compatibility and adhesion with polar materials. They are widely used to improve the performance of wood–plastic composites (WPC) and wire & cable (W&C) applications. The products are made from ethylene–acrylic acid copolymers grafted with maleic anhydride.
